Would love an “Automators” episode on Menubox, Pushcut, Toolbox Pro, etc

I enjoy messing around with Shortcuts, but I mainly make small little utility type tools with it. I’m curious about the larger Shortcuts “ecosystem” — how could I be using Menubox, Pushcut, Toolbox Pro, Data Jar, etc., to make better Shortcuts?

I hope Rosemary and Sparky will consider making an “Automators” episode devoted to explaining each tool and then giving a few concrete examples of how they use each.

Thanks for considering!!

That’s a pretty broad scope - especially when “etc.” is taken into account. Maybe if there were themes it might be more manageable as a mini series or something?

Also, did Menu Box ever come out of beta? I thought it didn’t and presumably it would have passed to Snailed It for ongoing development after Alex sadly passed - but it isn’t listed as an available app on their site.

LOL! Yes, you’re right, “etc.” is a lot

I leave the formatting options to our esteemed hosts, based on their experience and preferences. Sure, a miniseries would make a lot of sense.

My thought was to feature the helper apps that make Shortcuts better.

I think it would be an excellent idea, it would also help with the “this is how Pushcut fits into the Shortcuts infrastructure” question.

I completely agree, I’d like to see this as well.

I have looked for information about the new MenuBox beta. Can’t find any information anywhere other than Rosemary stating in was in beta. No information about signing up for the beta so I assume it is private.
