Using Scotty J's Automating Email with Data Jar

I’m trying to work out how Scotty J’s automating emails with data jar works. He describes the outline here: https://heyscottyj.com/2020/05/05/automating-emails-with.html but I’m struggling to find out how he gets the values out of data jar and into the email. Because it’s a dictionary of dictionaries I can’t get the values out…
