Strangely this doesn’t show in my updates list but does show on the app description page.
I’m a bit nervous about losing some old variables. Does the update recommend a procedure for reinstating them?
If you have a Mac you can follow these instructions for your variables before updating Toolbox Pro. I was lucky as I use Data Jar to save my global variables.
Those instructions will also work after the app has been updated. We aren’t actively wiping global variables, the issue is that the change in developer account removes the apps access to them because they’re stored in the keychain.
We know that people rely on Toolbox Pro to keep their data safe and we’re incredibly sorry for the inconvenience. We would have avoided this if we had any other option.
