While this is a tip for iOS and iPadOS, it requires a macOS computer to implement. On iPhones and iPads, there’s no way (as of iOS 15) to display availability-only calendars in the stock Calendar app. The Calendar app on macOS can display them, however, and the events are accessible via AppleScript. I wrote a tutorial explaining how you can automate iterating through a delegated calendar and creating busy events in a target calendar that iOS and iPadOS can display. Enjoy!
