Should I risk the Beta for easier editing of long shortcuts?

Using Reveal Action has been very erratic for long shortcuts (iPad) for some time. The highlighted action typically doesn’t appear right in the scrolled screen but can be somewhere nearby. Maybe up, maybe down. Maybe close, maybe not!
Has this sort of primitive and frustrating behaviour (which has happened I believe ever since the change to Swift code) been improved in the iPadOS 18 beta? Should I risk trying the beta?

As long as you are not putting it on a main device, you should be okay installing a public beta. If you do not have a secondary device, then a beta isn’t a good option. Even stable pre-release betas are pretty rough when it comes to things like battery life and having compatible third party app versions available.

Yeah I know. The only other time I’ve done betas was a couple of years ago when I was also trying to fix Shortcuts behaviour and it definitely helped then. Any idea whether the scrolling issues are fixed?

The bug is still there in the latest beta☹️

Thank you to both of you
