Whenever I run a shortcut on my iMac (End 2015, Monterey) I get the message “could not communicate with helper application”.
The app is unusable.
The problem occurs in save mode as well.
I am using shortcuts a lot and this is a big problem for me.
I don`t know if I can reinstall it after uninstalling it. So did not try that.
Any suggestions, what the problem might be?

I believe this issue might be due to a corrupted OneDrive installation or a conflict with other software. You can try these steps:
- Uninstall and then reinstall OneDrive.
- Hold down the Option key, click on the OneDrive icon in the menu bar, and select ‘Reset OneDrive’.
- Ensure OneDrive has the necessary permissions by checking System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
Alternatively, you can use additional productivity software to make shortcuts work on Mac, such as iBoysoft MagicMenu. With a simple control click on your mouse or trackpad, you can effortlessly create new files, copy/move/cut files, and copy file paths without needing to rely on the keyboard.
