Shortcut to send a photo via WhatsApp

Hi - new here and new to shortcuts.

I’d like to be able to send an image from my Photos Library (or attached to a task in a Reminders List) to a group. When I try the “Send Message via WhatsApp” or the “Send Photo via WhatsApp” actions and specify the criteria on how to automatically select the photos I want, it errors. I either have to manually select the photos (defeats the purpose), or it tries sending only the text “photos” in red (even when I select that the IMAGE should be sent, not its metadata).

Hello!… I’m having this issue. Were you able to fix it?

I have been able to automate sending texts via whatsapp, and I can send a photo via whatsapp if I have been prompted on where to send it (which like you said, defeats the purpose of an automation), but I can’t seem to send photos via an automation.

This is the error that I get:
