Shortcut to quit Waze

Hi all, I was hoping to create a shortcut to quilt or turn off Waze when CarPlay is disconnected, is there anyway to get this done?
Waze kills my battery even when not navigating!

I don’t believe you can kill an app via shortcuts, but perhaps you can look at disabling Background App Refresh for Waze to address your battery issues. Not sure if this is viable for you but something to consider.

Turning off background looks to have done the trick.
