I am trying to create a shortcut that adds the last screenshot to a specific note. I can only get it to paste the name or any of the meta data but not the image. I have also tried adding extra steps of copying to the clipboard and pasting, but I cannot get this to work. The use case for this is when I am gathering ideas for something, I want to add things I am finding to a specific note e.g. we are planning some work on a new patio and garden area, and while gathering screenshots, I wanted to add them to a note named “Garden Ideas”
If this is for Apple Notes it only supports automated appending of text currently.
Thanks for confirming. I am finding a lot of frustration with Shortcuts especially “automation” that needs user input. I think it is back to IFTTT for me.
