The problem I’m trying to solve is to search Live TV listings on Plex once a week automatically. I have a list of TV shows and Movies and I would like to know if they’re coming up in the TV schedule.
I’ve created two shortcuts for the Mac:
- The first shortcut generates the list of search terms and puts it in the clipboard. This works fine.
- The second shortcut takes a list from the clipboard, searches each item in the list and copies the results into an Obsidian file. It relies on BetterTouchTool and Obsidian. This worked fine last week. This week it works fine for the first 80 or so items in the list. Then I get the error, ‘This action is trying to share 9223372036854775808 Clipboard items, which is not allowed. You can allow this in Preferences.’
Note, I’m actually selecting all the text on the Plex search results page in Safari and copying it. I’ve tried using a ‘Get contents of web page’ action instead without success.
Does anyone know where I’m going wrong? Or, perhaps there is a better approach to solve the problem.
