I’m not seeing any Siri Shortcuts for Scriptable. I’ve tried running several scripts but they never seem to come up in Shortcuts. Is there something I am missing that I need to do?
It doesn’t appear to have Shortcuts support directly added yet, however using the “Open URLs” action with the Scriptable script’s URL scheme works great.
You can manually add them to Siri in a script’s settings.
OK thanks - got it. Once you add to Siri and then use Siri to run it - then it comes up in Shortcuts. I had added the Siri phrase and hadn’t run it which explains why I was having the issue.
Scriptable does not yet show scripts in Shortcuts. I’m working on it but I’ve stumbed upon an annoying imitation. The Shortcuts app will show a maximum of 30 suggested shortcuts per third party app and the Settings app will only show 20.
So when the user have more than 30 scripts, or 20 for that matter, I need to choose which scripts to suggest in the two apps and I haven’t found a good solution to this yet.
Just been invited to the beta, need to toy around with it. For the Siri limitation, what about having a favorite toggle (or a show in shortcuts toggle) and limit that to 20. I think with some help text, that can go a long way…
This should be fixed in the next build. For now, I’m trying out an approach based on recency, i.e. when a script was last opened.
