I’ve decided to take the time today to clear out my podcasts and start fresh only with the podcasts I actually listen to and enjoy, rather than the ones I’ve stopped listening to or have ceased production. I currently use Overcast as my player of choice. I know how to export and import OPML files, but can anyone think of a good shortcut (or another method) for me to review the list of shows in the OPML file, remove the ones I want to remove, and purge Overcast of only those shows? I’m not a programmer, but I’m pretty good at using shortcuts to manipulate texts. I also don’t know how to purge en masse from Overcast. Thoughts?
Might be easiest to swipe left to delete from the ‘All’ list to delete podcasts. Or for individual episodes, tap the three dots to edit episodes in a playlist and swipe to the bottom of the list. You could edit the OPML or use Shortcuts but that wouldn’t make it easier for you to choose.
