Post to Airtable with macOS Monterey shortcuts (Keyboard Maestro)

I just got myself a new MacBook Pro 14" and it came with Monterey and shortcuts. Yay!

I have used Shortcutify on my iPhone/iPad to post data to Airtable, but I want to do so with my Mac too.

I want to be able to use Siri or Click a Shortcut on toolbar, have the shortcut ask me for an input and send the input to a particular Airtable table.

I understand enough about Airtable Api to find the different ID’s etc. but struggle with coming up my own GET/POST URL & Json commands (?).

Here are apps/service I could use if there’s no simple way to do this:

  • Keyboard Maestro
  • Drafts
  • Integromat

What should I do?

Never mind, I realized that the old shortcut I build using Airtable Kit Shortcut works. :grinning:

So if you want to post to Airtable from your MacOS, google Airtable Kit shortcut.
