Navigate web page in Safari by typing

Does anyone know of a way to navigate a web page in Safari by typing? Specifically, I’d like to type the letters in a link on the page and then activate it. I used to use the Safari Extension Type to Navigate, but it looks like it has been abandoned. I am aware of the option on the Keyboard preference pane to enable All Controls, but that’s not exactly what I want. I don’t want to tab multiple times and eventually get to the link I want. Instead, I want to type a few letters and get there immediately.

I know there is a vim extension for safari. I’ve never used it but it might be what you’re looking for?

You should check out Shortcat. Was directed to it a couple of days ago by a user on the MPU forum. I was able to navigate to links on this page using it.
