More Dynamic StreamDeck

I have a use case for dynamically creating a StreamDeck profile:

  • It’s sensitive to which folder subtree I’m in (for BBEdit and Finder and iTerm, especially.
  • It’s always the same set of actions.

Has anyone made progress in programmatically creating StreamDeck profiles?

Or otherwise being sensitive to the working folder subtree?

(Actual use case is customer engagement workshops where there is a root folder of the subtree and folders for generating presentations within that.)

All reasonable tools, including “the usual suspects”, considered.

If I understand you, you could use the BetterTouchTool Streamdeck support. It doesn’t use ‘profiles’ which makes it much more ‘dynamic’. You can create a conditional group that’s dependent on the Window Name.
