Monterey Update

I know this doesn’t have to do with automation, but I know there are some pretty intelligent individuals on here (looking at you @sylumer) :wink:

Bascially, I have a late 2013 MBP and the App Store says compatable with this mac and the online compatability list says it’s compatable. However, I am not receiving the update. I have followed every single article and website that I could find by searching and have done them all. All but not limited to

  • Making sure the clock is accurate
  • Toggling the automatic updates checkbox
  • Getting the update from the store vs system preferences
  • Running/finding the terminal commands to find the update
  • Rebooting
  • Restoring

I’m curious if anyone else has this issue and what they did or if I’m just SOL.


Isn’t it the 2013 Mac Pro that’s supported and 2015 onwards Macbook Pros?

Gah! You’re right. I completely forgot about those machines. And, in my defense, the Mac App Store said “Compatable with this Mac”. Dangit. Thanks though.
