Mimic TotalFinder's auto-column width in Finder column view

I am trying to figure out a way to automatically size the columns in Finder’s column view to show the longest filename. TotalFinder had a setting for this (you could also set a max width, but that is not strictly necessary here). With TotalFinder no longer supporting M1 Macs, I’ve created some Keyboard Maestro actions to take care of the most important TotalFinder functions (namely ⌘-. to bring up the Finder in a “visor” view from the bottom of the screen). But it still annoys me to no end that the columns are so narrow.

Is there a way to accomplish this using KBM or Shortcuts?
