Things and plain text are the backbone of my personal and professional task management system.
I keep a log of my daily activities and projects as markdown text. While capturing my thoughts, I often create todos that I want to manage in Things. A limitation with the stock Add to Things share sheet action inspired me to write a shortcut to remove the markdown and add the lines as todos in Things.
I built the shortcut to address my individual use case and wanted to share the shortcut with the community. Hopefully someone else finds it useful. Here’s the URL:
