I have a folder of a large number of notes (several thousand) that I have generated over the years that I’m hoping to bring into Obsidian. They are fairly “raw” - as in, often simply direct quotes. I’d love to quickly append some YAML style front matter with tags and some basic information (basically as a way to identify these as relatively unprocessed notes that can be dealt with a different way than more recent notes) Any ideas of a good way to do this? I have the files indexed in Devonthink, and also have Hazel if any of these tools would be an obvious route.
Any suggestions appreciated!
code/text editors that allow you to do regex search replace on all files in a project/folder? I use Atom for such things…
