Is there any way to insert a link to a file in Numbers?

the only options are I tried the file URL (as in file:///…) as webpage but it does not work. thank you !

Link to File is not an option

Just tested this. You can do this with Hookmark. They have a trial if you want to try.

thanks very much. I ended up just writing a Keyboard Maestro macro and it works fine.
