I had a shortcut that executed perfectly on 1 ipad but not on my 2nd ipad. Google Al told me to delete the shortcut on the failing ipad and airdrop it from the successful ipad to the failing pad. So I followed the directions. Guess what? The shortcut was removed immediately from BOTH ipads. Google Al said: “OopS, Sorry”. Then it told me to go to the deleted shortcuts folder to restore it. -
Open the Shortcuts app on either iPad.
-
Tap the < Shortcuts back arrow in the top-left corner to view your folders list.
-
Look for a Recently Deleted folder. If it is there, tap it, select your shortcut, and hit Recover.]
Oops again. There IS no Recently Deleted folder for Shortcuts. Google AI apologized again. Warning: do not use or trust Google AI. It even promised me last week to only advise me with Verified real-time info. I was dumb enough to believe it so I used it again. I have learned from this forum to stop syncing shortcuts across my Apple devices. And don’t use Google AI.
