HIIT Workout 1.0
This workout was created with the HomePod in mind. My use case is as follows:
I have some basic workout equipment in my “home gym” including a set of dumbbells, a kettlebell and an open area, which also has a HomePod in that room.
I wanted a way to create a randomized workout everyday using a basic list of common exercise movements I incorporate into my daily workout routine.
When ready to workout I can say “Hey Siri, Interval Workout” and the following shortcut will be activated.
It sets do not disturb for the length of the workout and gives an initial alert that the workout will begin in 30 seconds. From there it reads a list of exercise movements and chooses a random movement every 30 seconds for 20 minutes straight - Siri will speak aloud each movement to perform during that set. During the last 3 seconds of each movement you will be given audio feedback letting you know the next movement is coming.
In this version of the workout you will do 40 sets of 30 seconds with 40 different movements.
Good quick workout to get your heart rate elevated with little time commitment. This is my basic daily routine. Hope you enjoy!
