Get Unread Messages

I’m back with another stupid question for the Scriptable pros:
Is there a way to get unread messages (from iMessage) with a URL or such?

I’m pretty sure that anything like that would be breaking a raft load of Apple’s security policies. I’ve never seen anything with access to do something with messages other than send them to the Messages app to be sent

Shortcuts can auto send, but it is in effect baked into the OS.

In addition to what @sylumer said: “unread iMessage” is somewhat vague given that you can have iMessages displayed on the lock screen. So “unread” depends on “did you look at the lock screen”…
