I realize this is slightly out of scope of “automation” but I imagine this audience might have some perspective.
I’m interested in using a LunaDisplay to connect M2 MBP with a 2017 5K iMac. I would like to use the iMac as an external monitor for the MBP. FWIW, my primary use will be Lightroom.
Do any readers have experience with this setup or similar? – jay
Should anyone stumble on this post… here’s a bit of followup.
I ended up purchasing a LunaDisplay. Unfortunately, I’m returning it. It works well (when connected via wire) with basic apps (eg, mail, safari, calendar). My Lightroom experience is not as good. LR will occasionally get into a mode where there is constant refresh of the external monitor display. It is unusable.
The support team has been unable to offer any suggestions to improve the LR experience.
