Do you always have to give an end time for an event? Can it automatically be an hour? If you make a short cut for your calendar?
An event always spans a period of time otherwise it would be more like a reminder which occurs at an instant in time.
When creating a new event in the Apple calendar app on IOS it defaults to an hour long for me
If you switch to an all day event, the system will, in effect, populate the start and end dates.
Within Shortcuts, if you don’t provide an end date, then you will get an error like this.
To prepopulate that with one hour, you would need to do some date calculation on your predefined start date and use that as your end date.
