I figured out how to create a CSV file but in the final step where I tell shortcuts to attach the CSV file (set as type file) it pastes the content into the email body.
Is there any way to sent the actual CSV file?
I am trying to auomate sending weekly activity excel spreadsheet. At least I can try sending a CSV instead but Shortcuts is giving my file to text problem.
Shortcuts inserts text for the send email action and so it is probably recognising the CSV as a text file. I say probably as you haven’t shared an example shortcut and I’m running low of time this morning to start testing at random.
Assuming that is the case though, you could ZIP the file before attaching.
