When a notification comes in from an app on iOS, I would like to an automation that sets an alarm for now + 1 min. The iOS app that would trigger this shortcut does not have Shortcuts support, i.e. it doesn’t show under the “Choose App” section of the iOS Shortcuts app. Any ideas on how to best go about this?

You have a very vague yet specific solution in mind, but perhaps there is something in what we don’t know that could offer a solution or cement that you need to contact the app developer with a feature request.
For context, I receive notifications from Opsgenie on iOS. The notifications can come at nighttime and I need be confident that the notification wakes me up.
Instead of having the notification make a sound, I would like it to deliver a haptic alert on my watch in the same way the built in alarm clock feature on iOS/watchOS does.
Setting the watch to mirror my phone’s notifications does not work in the same way because it only delivers a brief and soft vibration on the watch which is not enough to wake me up.
Opsgenie, the service rather than the mobile app, supports multiple notification paths. Rather than looking at the app, I think it makes more sense to look at the platform.
Consider using it alongside something like Pushover for better notifications. For example then you could utilise critical notifications and custom sounds, as well as vibrating on alert. Not affiliated, but I’ve usd Pushover for over a decade and it has worked flawlessly for my own triggered notifications.
In this case, just have it do it via email or API endpoint call, and define the notification details you want.
If you have to get authorisation to get the notifications routed like this., cite your use case, and extol that you are being conscientious and that you don’t want to miss critical notifications. The existing process has a known risk around that and you have a proposal to mitigate it.
