My wife uses Google Calendar to track her work. Her calendar pretty much exactly matches reality.
At the end of the day, we would like to generate a report from the calendar, that will use the “color” field you can assign in the calendar to tally up hours. Eg:
Red (Client calls): 3 hours
Blue (internal meetings): 1.5 hours
Green (project work): 4 hours
You get the idea.
We have pretty much the full suite of Mac and iOS tools at our disposal. A simple text report is fine.
