Charging state for iPad

Hi all,

I am trying to build a shortcut That will be run as an automation) that can determine if my iPad is presently charging and if so, turn certain related Settings off ( to improve charging speed).

I cannot find the function (I have a hunch it isn’t possible) to determine if device is charging or not. Does anyone know if there is such a function and if so, how to call it?

Currently, you can check the charging state using one of the free functions built into Toolbox Pro:

In i*OS 14 this functionality is set to be built in as a Shortcut automation.
