To practice writing shortcuts, I was hoping to write one that saves the time & location I connected to my car’s bluetooth head unit (non-Carplay) and disconnected from it. I don’t need this data, it’s just practice.
I can’t figure out how to get an automation to trigger when DISCONNECTING from bluetooth? Is there a way?

Shortcuts only has an automation trigger for when it connects to a Bluetooth device.

I found a solution to this. Create a focus mode for driving (allow all notifications to come through if you like).
Then in shortcuts, use that as a trigger to activate when driving focus ends.

FWIW, iOS 17 adds a Bluetooth disconnect trigger
