Background: I have a dedicated button at my bedside table which puts the apartment into “night mode”, turning off all lights and unnecessary devices. This button should also trigger a shortcut which sets the new focus mode to “sleeping”. But I have not figured out yet how to do this. I would be grateful for any advice!
You should be able to run a personal shortcut from a HomeKit trigger using Signals for HomeKit. That’s the only way I can think of to run a personal shortcut from a HomeKit trigger.

At least it is possible. However, I don’t have a Mac in continuous operation. It only became clear to me from the video why the two types of automation are so separate. I’m afraid there won’t be a quick solution.
Maybe consider an NFC tag instead of a HomeKit button.
