Automations triggered by notifications?

Hey Automators,

Is there anyway to trigger an automation based on a notification?

Basically, I want facebook notifications to be a trigger.

  • Because it is a personal account you can’t connect a web automation tool (i.e. integromat).
  • You do get email notifications, but these ‘seem’ random and sporatic.

My issues are:

  1. If an automation can be triggered be a notification using any apps?
  2. Where I actually ‘watch’ for this notification ➝ from what I can tell you can no longer get Facebook notifications on MacOS, so it would have to be: iOS or a Browser Notification?

Any ideas?
