I use the MyQ system to open/close my garage door. I want to keep the complication on my watch face for quick access but it can only be used with chronograph or Siri watch faces, neither of which I can tolerate. Would there be a way to open the MyQ watch app automatically when iPhone connects to car Bluetooth?
I was able to automate switching to the chronograph face through Shortcuts so I can tap the complication but it takes longer to execute than it does to just open the app manually from my usual watch face; hoping to skip the watch face step all together if possible.
I don’t think you can automate the watch. (Pity.)
I assume you can’t run a shortcut on the watch. One that gets you closer to your goal.
