Audio Hijack - Set filename of recording

Hi

Is there a way to pass a filename to Audio Hijack, so that it saves the file with this name? At the moment my sessions records all have the filename “App Recording %date %time”.

I’m sure this can be done with the run Javascript command in shortcuts, but I don’t know JS well enough to know what to code.

I emailed Audio Hijack and was very impressed with their response time, less than an hour.

Unfortunately this can’t be done at present but is on the road map.

Instead I have used Hazel script to rename it, it’s an extra step that I’d rather not do, but it does work.
