I’m a lot less intimidated by the price of this monitor now… does anyone that bought one still recommend it?
Bought mine on the day that preorders started. Love it. Resolution is great. I like the sound of the speakers. Don’t use the webcam much, but when I do nobody complains about the video quality (zoom calls). It is an expensive monitor, but I do not regret my purchase at all. Would do it again.

Very helpful, thanks. Saw some articles yesterday that said that Amazon sometimes discounts them at $1299… think I will take the plunge.
I have a HomePod Mini next to my current monitor… the Studio’s Siri support, I assume I’ll be able to move the HomePod to another room.
There are no glare issues in that room and I don’t plan to go with matte.

Did you go with the matte antiglare option?
No. I didn’t want the display “mucked with”. And where my display is there isn’t a glare problem.
