Hey there!

I’m Sylvan, a college student from Germany. I’ve been interested in Apple since 2011 and a regular MPU listener since I got my AirPods in February 2017. I’ve learned about Hazel, OmniFocus and my other things which have changed my way of studying and working.

As someone who grew up right before and through the rise of the smartphone, I consider myself both a computer- and touch-native person who loves both the Mac and iOS for productivity and uses a Windows PC for gaming.

I’m particularly interested in privacy (which is somehow weird to type in a field called “About me”) and the ways of using our devices and services as private as possible.

I’ve assembled some Keyboard Maestro actions some time ago, but only recently started looking into automation with Workflow/Shortcuts. Now, I want to learn more about ways to let my computer do things I don’t need to do manually.

Besides that, I love Star Wars.
