Using Drafts to automate note taking

I am trying to automate more of my daily notes and am wondering if Drafts is what I’m looking for. Essentially, I want to:

  • Take notes in Drafts
  • Tag lines that are tasks assigned to me
  • Publish the notes to Apple Notes
  • Publish the lines tagged to Omnifocus as new tasks

Drafts can support doing that. The details of how to do it depend on your tagging and layout. I suspect using Shortcuts for the Notes publishing will also give the best result, but I don’t recall off the top of my head if checkboxes are now supported.
