I would like to delete a certain string from the contents of my clipboard. I am not sure how to do this. Any help appreciated!
You want the Search and Replace step - specifically as a clipboard filter:

Here is a basic example.
Putting the following on the clipboard:
The red fire engine rush to Redland Street to put out the fire at Red Rascal HQ.
Then running the macro modifies the clipboard to:
The fire engine rush to land Street to put out the fire at Rascal HQ.
