I’ve been using Shortcuts on iOS for a while now, and I’m now working on using it with my macOS. I noticed something strange: The “Keyboard Shortcut” option seems to only be working when the Shortcuts app is active OR when the app is active that is being used by Shortcuts. Is this normal? Am I missing something?
Let me give you an example… I used the “Split Screen” Shortcut to split two apps: Slack and Messages. I decided to use Control + Command + L as my Keyboard Shortcut.
It only works when I either have one of these apps activated: Slack, Messages, or Shortcuts.
If I’m doing something wrong, please let me know! Thanks in advance!
