Is there a way to connect Aqara Hubs with Apple Home when on different networks?

Hi,
I’ve just configured an Aqara Hub M2 on an IOT network. Is there a way to connect the Apple Home App when my iPhone is on a different network please?

Remote access I think should just require an Apple device on that same IOT network to act as the remote access hub.

As a note, Apple devices will complain if they’re not on the same network as your iPhone/iPad/etc. They also sync the passwords with your devices, leading to half the things being on “the other” network.

From personal experience: Save yourself the headache, put the Aqara and all your HomeKit smart hubs/devices on your main network, and block them at the router/DNS level if you want to/see anything bad.

I’m about to find an expert to set up my networking equipment properly. I installed it three years ago and haven’t touched it since.
