Given the improvements to Reminders in iOS/iPadOS 13, I thought I would give it a try as my regular task manager. For the last few years, I’ve been using 2Do as my regular task manager, and I want to find a way to automate moving my existing tasks from 2Do into Reminders. 2Do has the ability to export individual lists into a CSV file. I thought I might could use Shortcuts to parse the CSV file and fill into the matching fields in Reminders. I’m disappointed to find that the “Add New Reminder” action in Shortcuts is woefully simple. As far as I can tell, all it can do is create a reminder with a name, an alert, and a note. There is no field for due date, project, URL, or any other information. Is there a way to make more robust use of Reminders in Shortcuts? Are there other methods you would recommend for moving my task data in 2Do to Reminders?
