My job manages a lot of things via GitHub Issues this leaves me often checking issues as much as I check email.

That said, the organization of those issues are pretty managed with milestones with deadline allowing us to focus on upcoming events and issues.

I would like to create a widget that shows issues that belong to a soon to expire milestone.

Has anyone attempted this? Any apps/scriptable templates that helped?

I would want this built into the Working Copy git client. But then I haven’t figured out how to review issues in Working Copy, either.

(I rely on Issues for my 5 open source projects.)

Yeah I’m just going to have to use the Github API. Not user friendly but it gets the job done.
