Dripping audiobook out in parts as podcast feed ...?

I have some audiobook files, nicely chapterized. Basically what I want to be able to do is drip those files out, one per day, as a podcast feed. I could upload them directly to Overcast, but then they’re all sitting there and I get very, very tempted to just listen to a bunch of it at once - and that’s not what I want to do.

I need to do this for maybe three audiobooks at a time.

Can any of you think of a way to do this?

ISTR there was an app that did this… but it might have been an iOS app and not sure if it would let you put in your own audiobooks or just used public domain.

Ah, so that was Librivox and they only have public domain books.

I took a look around, and didn’t see any easy way to do this, but I’d be interested to know if there’s a way to do it too.

My initial thought was to organize the folders of audio files, write a shell script, have it run via cron on my Mac to dump audio files into Dropbox, and then have JustCast pick up and syndicate the feeds.

And that’s still an option, but I was kind of hoping there might be an easier way to do things.

That’s probably the best way to do it, to be honest.
