Determine whether script is running on an iPhone or iPad?

Since Apple released the GM I installed iOS 12 on my iPhone as well. Now I notice that output of scripts was fine on my iPad Pro, but not on my iPhone X…

Is there a way to determine whether a script is running on an iPhone or iPad?

Something like JSBox’s $device.isXXX API?

(I would like to use different output formatting on different devices)

This is not currently supported but it’s scheduled for the first update.
