I love OmniFocus’ “Find Items” shortcut action in iOS, but does anyone know how to find items at the folder level instead of in projects?
Use case:
- I have folders at the top level that separate projects and tasks into my Areas of Focus
- During weekly reviews, I’d like to gauge where my time went by using the Find Items shortcut action to count the number of completed tasks by each Area of Focus folder. This way I can see where I over- and under-indexed. To be clear, I’m not looking to see the list of completed projects in OmniFocus, rather just count the numbers, which will be used elsewhere.
I don’t think this is possible in Shortcuts (again, because you can only filter by matching words, flags or tags), but I’m wondering if anyone has a workaround? AppleScript or the forthcoming Omni Automation is fine.
