I just went through monthly billing. I want to take numbers documents after I make them and quickly convert them to PDF. I know I can export them out as a PDF, but is there a way to just accomplish this in Finder instead?
I think you should be able to do this with an Automator Service? Not sure what type of documents you’re creating, so the script/action used to accomplish it would vary I guess.
I think the thing you need to take into account is that your spreadsheet potentially has multiple sheets. Whatever you create has to have somme level of appreciation of which sheet you want to export.
Given you can export from within Numbers itself and Numbers is the app that understands the file format, it seems logical that it is that app (or say the AppleScript dictionary ffor that app) would be used to produce the PDF. Have you looked at the automation with that in mind?
