Charty Filter Data Action Usage

Has anyone used the Charty Filter Data action? I’m trying to use it to filter data from a CSV file to only include data after an arbitrary date. I can create charts using the entire data set without a problem but can’t figure out how to get the Filter Data option to work. It seems simple enough, but I don’t quite understand where to insert it in my shortcut.

Does anyone have an example?

It creates a simple date/value series and uses the Filter Data action to remove values greater than 5 before adding the series to a chart.
