Automator Folder Action to Send email

I’ve created a folder action in Automator that is attempting to send an email to my business partner when a new file/folder is added. However, it’s wanting to send the folder/file that was added. Ideally I would like it to send the email notification without the folder/file but I can’t see a way to make this work. Is there a way to send the email when folder action is triggered without the folder/file added?

If you’re using Automator’s New Mail Message action, open the Options tab at the bottom and click the “Ignore this action’s input” checkbox.
