Has Apple ever done a public beta of an iOS app?

I am on the Public iOS beta and the Shortcuts beta. It”s possible though that it’s because I was on the old Workflow beta.

I can also confirm what @RosemaryOrchard said in today’s episode that the beta works on my one device running iOS 11 as well as my devices on 12.
